SFS Finnish Standards is the national standardization organization in Finland, and the representative of Finland to CEN. SFS has well over 200 national standardization committees whose task is to participate in the work of CEN’s technical committees. One of these national committees is SFS/SR 301 Health informatics which serves as the Finnish expert group for standardization in healthcare information technology, and participates in the work of the CEN/TC 251.
SFS’s goal is to gather all relevant parties in Finland into the national committee SFS/SR 301 who wish to participate in the development of European standards drafted in the CEN/TC 251.
